From our shop locations in San Francisco and San Anselmo, we use USPS.

In Store Return Policy

No refunds are given on merchandise or classes.  All returns are for store credit only.

Provided we have the same dye lot on the shelf, unused yarn in its original condition (original packaging with label, not wound on swift/ball winder) may be exchanged for store credit only within 30 days of purchase.

Returns after 30 days are at the discretion of the owner.

There are absolutely no returns or exchanges on books, patterns, needles, notions, sale items and special orders.

Please note that items purchased online cannot be exchanged or replaced in person through our stores in San Francisco or San Anselmo, CA.  Please see our Online Return Policy below.

We use UPS Worldship: Next Day, 3-Day, or Ground. Real-time shipping rates apply.

Online Return Policy

Unused yarn in its original condition (original packaging with label, not wound on swift/ball winder) may be exchanged for store credit only within 30 days of purchase.

When exchanging yarn, the customer must pay for all shipping costs associated with the exchange. Customer will receive notice of their credit with Atelier Yarns via E-mail.

Please note that items purchased online cannot be exchanged or replaced in person through our stores in San Francisco or San Anselmo, CA.

Any product will be replaced if damaged in shipment. We will happily reimburse any shipping costs incurred when returning damaged merchandise, and will send replacement merchandise at no cost. Please include a description of the damage with your return.

Merchandise returned for exchange or replacement to Atelier Yarns must be accompanied by: original receipt, customer's email address, customer's phone number, customer's shipping address.

ALL SHIPMENTS MUST BE INSURED FOR THE FULL VALUE OF THE CONTENTS. ATELIER YARNS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR UNINSURED PACKAGES.
